I completely agree with you.
I said earlier on that it is unfair to blame; Benni, Mats or Marcel for yesterday.
IMO, Mats had a good game and gave Germany momentum after he scored his goal.
I think Per is great but yesterday wasn’t his best game, which is understandable as he is just coming back from injury.
I will always protect Benni (as you saw from the little drama earlier on) but I would never blindly say he was great when he wasn’t. And like you said the entire team didn’t perform yesterday, win as a team and lose as a team.
But obviously with running a Benni blog, I have to show the good things written about him.

That is exactly the way that I feel. I thought he had a great game yesterday and I loved his spirit for trying to score too.
I’m just going to ignore the haters, they seem to be of the opinion that the Bayern players will be like magical cream! *smh*
I don’t have doubts that he’ll make it to the final squad but I am concerned about the amount of playing time he’ll get.
It would be nice to see him back in central defence where he excels but he is doing great as a RB, for both Schalke and the NT.
